Another self promoting plug, but check out my site KernSports.info. I have kids who actively play sports at various levels and I wished there age groups and sports got some coverage. I thought to myself more parents and athletes probably felt the same way so I created the site.
It is still new, and it does not have a ton of content yet but we are adding to it daily. We need parents, coaches or athletes to contribute to the site as well so we can cover sports in and around Kern County the way we would like to.
Any sport, any age deserves news about what is going on in their league and we hope to cover as much as possible. Everything from youth AYSO to adults doing karate, we will do out best to cover any sport in Kern County or involving people from the area. We hope to offer coverage of more than just Bakersfield sports, but the entire county. Currently the site has the most coverage of the North County, simply because that is where my children compete, but we are still growing.
