The use of photographs of your blog or website is one of the things many bloggers overlook. Unfortunately many do not think about how a block of text looks to a sites readers. It causes many people to immediately leave a site, because lets face it, people simply do not have a very long attention span these days. Breaking up text with photos is a great way to keep visitors to your site interested and entertained.
The use of copyright photos can get you punished by Google resulting in low search engine rankings or it can even get you sued. Paying for photographs may be outside your budget if you are new or just starting out.
VincentMartinez.info has started a new and free stock photography section. Currently it only has about 500 photos but they are adding more photos daily. All they ask is that somewhere in your article or photo caption that you credit the site and provide a link. Thats it, no registration requirement or limit to the number of photos you can use.
By breaking up the text in your articles with photographs you will find users staying on your site and taking in more of your content.
